Question:
Hi, I am new here and don’t usually seek out this information. However, I have a home on Chincoteague Island, VA. The house dates back to 1880. Never been outside the family since we bought it. Now, I am finding all kinds of interesting artifacts from where the outhouse may have been Found a shoulder jar, in pieces but whould love to put it back together. I have tried all kinds of glues nothing works. Please advise I am going crazy!!! Paul Brzozowski
Answer: I have found epoxy ( where the two tubs are mixed together) to work well on stoneware. I have also glued a one gallon crock together with gorilla glue and it held.
