I recently purchased this advertising jug and was wondering if this was manufactured by Red Wing. The jug is is excellent condition and has the letter R indented on the bottom. Can you please tell me the value and the rarity of this jug. Thanks.

Answer: Your Rothschild jug is not Red Wing. It could be a Western Stoneware piece or another mid-western stoneware companies product. Not being Red Wing, I do not have an honest value to give you. Sorry. Al Kohlman
