Question:
I have a small container with a screw on cap on the side. I don’t know what make it is. Madelta, Red wing? It has a K stamped on the bottom of it. It has a stamp on the side at the bottom theat says "Pearson A and the last word I think says Chesterfield". It’s hard to read. I been told it is called a Pig. I can’t find them anywhere. I was also told that it was used before hot water bottles were invented. To fill up with hot water and put them under your covers to heat up the bed. Sorry but don’t have a camera to give you pics.
Answer: This is another tough one without a photo. My guess it is east coast stoneware, but have little to no help with your question without a photo. Sorry, Al Kohlman
