Question:
I own 2 P.C. Murray Jugs from Dubuque Iowa. The first jug is 1 gallon, with a crisp blue stencilling, mint. This is the same jug Larry has pictured in his book. My jug is not signed. The second jug is a pint size, I believe. It is in mint condition. Its advertising is stamped on. The bottom of the jug is signed Red Wing Stoneware. What is the value of my 2 jugs? My computer is getting fixed, I may be able to email a photo maybe next week when I get the computer back. If I could get pictures, can I email them to you prior to posting your responce? Thanks, Tom
Answer: Tom, these P.C. Murray Jugs from Dubuque Iowa are quite rare and very early. I would hold the book value on these jugs to be about right. Your unsigned 1 gallon at $1000 to $1200. and the bottom signed $1300 to $1400. Al Kohlman
