Question:
My great grandmother left her Red Wing 30 Gal. Crock to me and I feel like it has to be worth something. It is missing a handle and has a small hair crack. There is a green stamp by the handle to the right in the picture that dates 1915. I am trying to determine whether to use it for something or protect & save it for my kids. If it’s not to much trouble, could you share with me what it might be worth? Thank you.
Answer: In mint condition your grandmother’s crock would be valued around $350. However, the hairline on the side by the handle greatly reduces it’s value. $200 to $225. Still a nice piece. Al Kohlman
