Question:
Hello. I purchased this milk jug at an estate, thinking it was an early Red Wing piece. After getting it home and paging through many books I could find nothing to compare it to. The spongeware is brown and green, the body is ribbed and the exterior advertising is raised and actually made from the same stoneware unlike the stamped advertising you usually see. The pitchers dimensions are 4.5" x 4"W x 6" from spout to end of handle. Any help given as to identification would be helpful.Kind regards-Jennifer

Answer: Jennifer, you are correct with your pitcher not being Red Wing. However, I do not know who the manufacturer could be. Sorry I could not be of further help. Al Kohlman
