I’d like to know more about a piece I own and it’s likely value. It’s a red wing 1/2 gallon jug with a brown top. It has the red wing stamp on the side opposite the finger hole. It has one small glaze "pop" on the side and a small, shallow chip on the shoulder and one on the bottom edge. Thanks

Answer: Your 1/2 gallon Red Wing brown top jug was used for storing vinegar. When emptied, someone would make a trip to the store and have it refilled. You jug with the chips in today’s market would have a value around $150. Mint $200. Al Kohlman
