Sir: I have this 4 gallon salt glaze elephant ear crock. I would like to know if it is red wing? I think it is hand painted and it is in very good condition. Also if you would know what the pattern is on it,also the value I can’t seem to find it in the red wing books Thanks much Phil
Answer: Phil, your 4 gallon salt glazed crock is not Red Wing. I have never seen this flower before, but the glaze looks to be from the Ohio or for sure from the Midwest area. Not being a Red Wing or Wisconsin piece of Stoneware, I have so idea of what it’s value could be. Sorry I could not be of further help. Al Kohlman
