Question:
I found an old crock in my folks basement. It says MINNESOTA STONEWARE CO. RED WING, MINN on the bottom. It is a light brown, 8 1/2 in H x 7 3/4 in in diameter. It is not perfectly round at the top. There is no decoration on it & has a 3/4 in lip at the top & is dark brown inside. I took pictures to send you but can’t figure out how to do it. I’ll ask a neighbor and try again later. Thank you so much for your input.

Answer: You have a Minnesota Stoneware Company salt glazed one gallon crock that is bottom signed. The sell for around $50 in mint condition, but with the out of round top the value will be about half. Al Kohlman
