Hello! I recently purchased a 3 gallon lazy eight shoulder jug. I believe it is a Red Wing, but was hopeing for some confirmation on it. I have looked in both my Red Wing collectors guides, but have not been able to find a shoulder jug like this on with a lazy eight symbol. Hopefully you can tell me a little more about this jug! Answer: From your photo, I cannot tell if your jug is Red Wing or from another mid-west Stoneware Company. The decoration is the very common lazy8 target and was made by Red Wing, Western and Ohio Stoneware Companies. Seeing the back of the handle where it attaches to the jug would give me a little more information. Al Kohlman
