I Just Purchased this 3 gallon churn. It Has a couple of hairlines. It struck me unusual I think it is a molded churn? What time frame was it produced and what is the value. Im sure the hairlines take away from it. I am new to collecting and have three churns.

Answer: Your 3 gallon Red Wing churn is a molded churn. It was most likely manufactured after 1918 and before 1930. The hairlines do hurt it’s value, but the markings are very nice which ads to it’s beauty. Value between $200 to $300 depending on how large the hairlines. I have always had a soft heart for these churns. Gotta love them. Al Kohlman
