Question:
Can you tell me if the attached is a Red Wing Jug. When I add water, it holds 2.5 quarts when filled to the top. It has a set of three blue bands around the bottom and top, white glazing, normal factory pockmarks, and some blue color droppings outside the bands. There is one small chip on the edge by the band and a smaller chip on the bottom of the jug.The jug measures 7.5" high and 19" around. Thank you Tina

Answer: Tina, your blue banded jug could very well be Red Wing. I would like to see a photo of where the handle attaches to the jug. This would give me additional information on it’s maker. Al Kohlman
