Question:
We purchased this 5 gallon crock in Iowa City in 1978. Believe it’s Red Wing. Small half moon chip on the lip. On the bottom the name appears to be Warren Sweet, hand written. I’m assuming this to be a "lunch hour" crock. Any estimate on it’s value? Thank You.
Answer: Your crock is Red Wing, however, it is not a lunch hour piece, but a standard production item from the late 1800′s. The value on your piece is $300 to $400. Al Kohlman
