Question:
I have a 15 gallon crock with lid it also has a spigot at the bottom and what looks like threaded drain on the side towards the the upper rim it also has the red wing emblem a blue olval stamp the 15 is a swirl pattern the The crock itself is in great condition but the lid had a big what looks like a bite out of it
Answer: Your Red Wing 15 gallon crock was most likely used in a chemical plant or laboratory. Though not a production piece they are not totally uncommon to find. If your crock is in mint condition, it would have a value in the area of $225 to $250. The lid with a chunk out of it would be in the $25 range. Al Kohlman
