Red Wing Refrigerator Jar : It is 4 3/4′ round by 3 1/4′ tall. It is in very nice condition. Could you please tell me it\’s year, what it might have been used for, and an estimated value. Thank you very much. We really like your website! Juliana

 

Answer: Juliana, thank you for the nice comment on the Red Wing site. These stacking Red Wing Refrigerator jars came in 3 sizes. They were use for storing leftovers from dinner. They were made to stack on top of other Red Wing Refrigerator jars to save space in the refrigerator. They were manufactured by Red Wing in the 1920′s/1930′s. In mint condition, they have a value between $250 & $300. Al Kohlman
