Question:
I have a Red Wing stoneware 10 gallon churn. It has a blue 10 on it a red wing. It was patented Dec. 24, 1915. Both handles are still on it. I am sending you a picture. The only chip on it is on top. I took a picture of it. It is in great condition. What is it worth? Do you know anyone interested in buying it? Thank You Carla

Answer: Carla, you have a Red Wing crock and not a butter churn. Your crock was manufactured sometime between 1915 & 1930. The markings are somewhat weak which will affect it’s value. With the chip your crock has a value in the area of $75 to $100. Your best bet for selling your crock would be either ebay or a garage sale. Al Kohlman
