Question:
I have a two gallon grey glaze crock, big wing, blue oval that was mismarked with a "3". The 3 is clear, but the 2 was marked over and it is also clear. With the exception of the mismarked number, the ctock is in perfect condition. Sorry, but I am unable to send a picture right now. I am interested in the value. Thank you Sharron Smith

Answer: Sharron, I would love to see a photo of your crock as would other Red Wing Collectors. So if at all possible, please send us one. Mismarked Red Wing pieces can demand high values among some collectors. The value will depend on how clear the mismark is and if it takes anything away from the beauty of the piece. In order to be safe (with out seeing a photo) the value can range from $150 to as high as $500. Al Kohlman
