I am an avid Red Wing collector, but have not dabbled in the saltglaze crocks yet. I have the opportunity to buy this crock. Is it old Red Wing and what would you value it at? It’s in mint condition. Thanks Becky R.

Becky, I don’t think this crock is Red Wing. The tail off of the 6 I have seen from pieces coming out of Ohio. Also, the piece has quite a bit of staining. Value would be in the area of $125 to $175. Al Kohlman
