Question:
I am sending you 2 pictures of my miniature canteen flask. In the 2 books on redwing pottery I have, it is not in there. It is identical in form to the Pierron miniature on page 127 of the Red Wing Collectables book by DePasquale, Peck, & Peterson. Values Updated 2006 edition. Have you ever seen one of these before? Do you think it is one of a kind? What kind of value do you think it has? Measures approx. 3 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches wide. Any input would be appreciated. Says St. Paul Minnesota July 21-22 1913 on one side. Says 9th Annual Encampment Department Of Minnesota U.S.W.V. on the other side. Ink is in black. Thank you for your time. Guy. I just found out you can only upload 1 picture.

Answer: I have not personally seen this miniature advertising canteen, but that does not mean that there are no more out there. In fact if this canteen was manufactured for a convention, I am quite sure there are more out there. Either way it would be quite rare and be close in value to the $1500 to $2000 range. Al Kohlman
