Hi, I have a cold painted cookie jar which is embossed "Walt Disney Productions" on base.I saw on E-bay that someone had a black background one and someone said it was Redwing and it’s worth 500.00.This one is green/blue with Donald Duck and one of the nephews on it.The top reads in embossed lettering "Cookies".It stands 10 1/4" high.Any information would be appreciated. Answer: Sorry, but I do not believe this cookie jar was made by Red Wing. The jar has a rather generic shape that could have been made by numerous potteries. But the "Walt Disney Productions" mark indicates it was made under a licensing agreement of some kind. To my knowledge Red Wing did not have any contracts with Walt Disney.
