Question:
I heard one time about someone who knew of the metal stands being made to fit Bob White Dinnerware. Things like the Lazy Susan, Cruet and Casserole stands. Of course they are knockoffs but is this true? Also, there was someone who made embroidered napkins for some Red Wing Dinnerware patterns, is there a contact for this person. Lastly, I was told of cookie jar lids that were also knockoffs for the Bob White cookie jar, if this is true do you have a contact? Thank you! Don

Answer: I’m not going to be of much help to you because your questions do not concern vintage Red Wing dinnerware. I am not aware of anybody making reproduction metal stands but would not be surprised if it is true. I’d think it would be easier to make new metal stands than attempt to reproduce hand painted dinnerware.

A couple of years ago there was a person selling newly made napkins on eBay that matched many different Red Wing dinnerware patterns. His name is Dino Fire but I haven’t seen eBay listings from him for quite a while. I do not have contact information for him.

Also on eBay I have seen reproduction covers available made to fit Bob White, Round Up and the Happy cookie jars. These covers were clearly marked as reproductions on the bottom surface. I do not remember the seller’s name or have any contact information.
