Question:
I have a short, long tea pot with lid. (about 5"x 10"). It says REDWING on the bottom and I believe it it the Magnolia pattern. The pot is light gray/green and the lid has the magnolia pattern on it. It’s in excellent condition-was in shrink wrap since 1963 when we moved. It was my parents and I believe it was a wedding gift in 1950. Martha

Answer: Value for a teapot from the Magnolia dinnerware pattern is around $50 if it is in excellent condition. Any damage such as chips, flakes, cracks, hairlines or stains will reduce the value significantly. The tip of the long spout on these Concord line teapots were very prone to chipping. Also the S-shaped handle on the teapot cover was easily broken.
