Question:
Hand painted cake plate.Big pink flower and also a bud. Blue flower and a bud with yellow center also two yellow flowers. Nine leaves and size is a 10 inch round with blue ring around it about 1/8th in thick. Was my grandmothers. Barbara

From your description it seems that you have an Orleans Dinner Plate. Without a picture, I can’t be 100% positive, but all of the Orleans elements are present. Orleans was one of four patterns in the Provincial 1941 line introduced in 1941 and discontinued in 1950. It was a very popular pattern and reasonably easy to find but much of it is badly stained and crazed. In pristine condition, it is worth $12-20.   Terry Moe
