Question:
I am interested in selling some Redwing stoneware pieces that I have, and would like info on the process and also an approximate quote of value. Ebbtide pattern -

11 dinner plates 11 1/4"
10 salad/dessert plates 7 1/2"
9 bread/butter plates 6"
13 cups
1 covered butter dish
1 each creamer and covered sugar bowl
1 covered casserole dish 7 1/2" X 4 1/2" high.

All pieces are in excellent condition (no chips etc). Thank you for the information. Darlene Hoff

Answer: Ebb Tide is a dinnerware pattern made the mid 1960s. Cups were available in two styles, either with a handle or without a handle. The handleless cup is the most unusual and well-known feature of the Ebb Tide pattern, and it is difficult to find today. Ebb Tide included fewer different pieces than most dinnerware patterns. No pitchers, teapots, beverage servers or salt & pepper shakers were made. Thus Ebb Tide tends to be overlooked because many collectors seek these specific items. Values are generally modest compared to more popular Red Wing patterns.

Dinner plate: $10-15

Salad plate: $5-10

Bread/butter plate: $5-10

Cup (handled version): $5

Cup (handleless version): $15-25

Butter dish: $25-35

Creamer & Sugar: $20-30

Covered casserole: $25-35
