Question:
I have a teapot, creamer and sugar stamped Red Wing USA with the #s 264, 265 & 266. It has a yellow flower pattern. Can you give me any info? Shelley

Answer:
You teapot, creamer and sugar bowl set decorated with yellow flowers and green leaves is one of three that were made in the mid-1940s. These sets are difficult to categorize. They don’t go with any of the dinnerware patterns but they don’t really fit with art pottery either. But the nine shape numbers marked on the pieces in these sets fall immediately after the last known shape number in the Gypsy Trail dinnerware line. These sets do not appear in any Red Wing brochures or catalogs that I’ve seen. Most likely these were three stand-alone tea sets that were sold as giftware. None of the three sets is rare, but they aren’t especially common either. Your set in undamaged, clean condition would be worth $50-75.
