Question:
I have aquired two sets of creamer and sugar pottery. One set is orange, the other is an off white with gold accents. Orange set says redwing on bottom, other set does not. Sending pics seperately. Please tell me estimate of when made, rareity, estimate of value etc. Thank You – Joey

Answer: This creamer and sugar set was not made by Red Wing Potteries. While similar in shape and size to the Gypsy Trail Plain snack-size set, they are not identical. Note the double-handled sugar — the Red Wing sugar has just one handle. The Red Wing set has a small decorative swirl on the side, which appears to be missing this white set. Red Wing also did not use gold trim on their dinnerware. The Pearl China Company made a creamer and sugar set in this style; there may have been other companies as well. Sorry, I know nothing about the value or rarity of this set.
