Question:
can you give me any info on this cooler and a value? Kerry
Answer:
The piece in the photo is a water cooler from the Village Green dinnerware pattern. Village Green was introduced in 1951 and continued in production until the close of Red Wing Potteries in 1967. Hard to be sure from the angle in the photo but the cooler appears to be missing its cover, which would be a light green color. The stand upon which the cooler sets is a later version that was not made until the early 1960s. A complete Village Green color with cover and stand in excellent condition would be worth $350-500. Subtract about half the value if the cover is missing.
