Question:
I have a green pineapple shaped bowl in very good shape and on the bottom only has Red Wing USA. Is it worth anything? Thank you Diann

Answer:
Red Wing made several pineapple-shaped pieces in the early 1940s as part of the Gypsy Trail dinnerware line. Bowls were made in three sizes: 5", 10" and 13". The 5 and 10 inch bowls were also available with covers; these were sold as casseroles. There were also two vertically-oriented marmalade jars with covers in the shape of a pineapple, as well as a cookie jar. Values for the three bowls range from $15 to $40, depending on size and assuming excellent condition.
