Question:
Includes a dinner set for four (minus one side plate), salt and pepper shaker, cream & sugar set, serving platter, serving dish and a split serving dish. Dinner set = large plate, small side plate, small bowl, larger bowl, saucer & cup. What would this set be worth and what is it’s history?

Answer:
Driftwood is one of six patterns in the Anniversary shape. The first Anniversary patterns were introduced in 1953; Driftwood was the last pattern in this line and was introduced in 1955. Price lists show Driftwood as being produced through 1961, after that only the remaining stock on hand was available. I’d estimate the value of your set to be $200-$300 if the pieces are in excellent condition.
