Question:
I have a pastel pink Redwing pitcher it has no chips, but has dark streaks(seen in photo).Could you give me some information and value of piece. Thank You, Janet

Answer: You have a Fondoso tilt pitcher. Fondoso was a pattern in Red Wing’s Gypsy Trail line. It was introduced in 1938 and produced for several years into the early 1940s. The company apparently had a difficult time achieving a pink glaze that would adhere evenly as the streaky glaze on your pitcher is quite common in this color. Value for this pitcher in excellent condition would be $50-75. The glaze streaks detracts from the appearance and will reduce the value some. If your pitcher has no other flaws it would be worth a bit under $50.
