Question:
HI I HAVE A BROWN PITCHER W/A LITE BLUE TOP.ON THE TOP OF THE LID IS A SWIRL.IT HAS 8 CUPS THAT ARE BROWN W/ THE SAME LITE BLUE ON THE IN SIDE. I THINK ITS A WATER PITCHER 12′IN HIGH

Answer: I cannot positively identify your items without a photo or more thorough description. Many people confuse Village Green with another Red Wing pattern named Bakeware (commonly known as Oomph), as well as with Country Fare and similar patterns made by other companies. It is common to find these various patterns mixed together in people’s collections.

The swirl-shaped knob on the cover of your pitcher is definitely Village Green. The Village Green water pitcher does not have a cover, but there are three different beverage or coffee servers that do. The beverage server is 7.5" high to the rim of the pitcher. There are two 1 gallon coffee servers, one with knobs on the side that fit into a metal stand and another without the knobs. The one with knobs is 10" high to the rim of the pitcher. I don’t have the other style so I am not sure of the height but it should be very close to the knobbed style.

And there are three different Village Green cups with the same color scheme: Beverage mug (4.75" tall), coffee cup (3.5" tall) and teacup (2.5" tall). Your cups are likely one of these, but they could also be from the Bakeware pattern or from another company.
