Question:
my mother has a set of blue willow dinnerware that came from Japan from my great great grandmother very very old. no one knows anything about the design nothing its not the design people think of when you say blue willow? all I know is that it has got to date back to mid to late 1800′s atleast and in great shape. any suggestions? please help me if you can. thank you

Answer: Sorry, I know nothing about antique Japanese pottery. This site deals specifically with pottery made in Red Wing, Minnesota. A Internet search should lead you to websites that specialize in Japanese antiques or pottery. Larger public libraries may also have reference books available on the subject.
