Answer:
Reed cups & saucers were made in three styles:
Tea cup & saucer
Coffee cup & saucer (cup is low and wide)
A.D. cup & saucer (small After Dinner set)
From your description and photo I can’t be certain of the size of your cup & saucer, but I believe they are A.D. sets. The cup is definitely not a coffee cup, and the height-to-width proportions seem to fit the A.D. cup rather than the tea cup. If the cup is "normal" size it is a tea cup; if the cup is tiny it is an A.D. cup.
Value for one Reed A.D. cup & saucer set would be around $30. A tea cup and saucer set would be worth about $20.
