Question:  {mosimage}
Hello, Could you please tell me how old this pitcher is and the value?  It measures 5.5" from the tip of the spout to the base.  The interior is ivory.  There are two small dots…punch holes at the top of the handle. The bottom has Redwing USA, with no number.  Thanks for your assistance! Mike

Answer:
Mike,
You have a creamer in the Midnight Rose pattern.  This pattern was part of the Anniversary line, so named because the line was introduced in 1953 — the year of Red Wing Potteries’ 75th anniversary in business.  My earliest brochure for Midnight Rose is dated January 1954 but I believe the pattern was introduced a year earlier with the other Anniversary patterns.  Midnight Rose did not sell as well as the other Anniversary patterns and was discontinued January 1956.

Because Midnight Rose was dropped rather quickly it is more difficult to find today.  A black Midnight Rose creamer in excellent condition is worth around $25.
