Thank you for such great detail on Red Wing. You are a great resource. I have a light greenish Red Wing wall pocket, 1254 or 1954. The bottom of the second digit is faint. It is 8" long, 6 3/4" wide and 2" deep. I believe it is mid to late 1940′s. Do you have any other information on wall pockets of this style? I want to collect wall pockets, but am not sure of value and sources, other than ebay. Thank you again for such a great site! ~Adam

your wallpocket is from the mid fourties, shape #1254. I think there are around a half dozen or so different wallpockets made by Red Wing, most in the 40′s timeframe. As you know, there are a lot of people who collect strictly wallpockets. Most of these usually sell around the 75.00 dollar range. Glaze and shape also play a part in the price. good luck with your hunt! thanks, steve n rose
