Question:
I have in my posession a redwing pottery bowl. It is green and yellow in color with no chips or cracks. this measures approx. 8 1/4" in diameter and stands approx. 2" tall. there is a tag on it which reads Red Wing and has a series of dates ranging from 1878 – 1953. Can you tell me the value of this and what was it made for? thanks, Jim
Answer: Hi Jim
this piece dates to 1953, which was Red Wing’s 75th anniversary, hence the sticker. It’s just a simple bowl, the glaze is woodland green. value is around 20.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
