Question:
My Mother and Father received this Red Wing Art Pottery vase for a wedding present in 1930. I’m interested in knowing what it might be valued at, it is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Mottled green, tan, army darker green and its shaped larger at top and smaller at bottom. They were both in college at Univ of Iowa when they received this vase. My Mother was an artist and used it in her painting with flowers in it. Kathy

Answer: Hi Kathy

Your history fits right in with the date of this vase. The glaze is called nokomis. Value is around 225.00. it would be interesting to see your Mothers painting! thanks, steve n rose
