Question:
I have a Red Wing Vase measuring 12 1/4" at the top of the Higher of the two lips. It is a pea green in color with Orange specks throughout. No cracks, chips ect…It does have glazing cracks that are within the glaze itself. The bottom reads Red Wing and the number is 810 or 818 or even 816, I cannot tell for sure as orange specks go across the last number and It is hard to read. Lisa

this is a Red Wing shape, from the 60′s, but it’s a "hobby shop" piece. That means it was done by someone other than Red Wing. The glaze isn’t correct. The plant closed in 1967, molds were sold off. Some molds were used by other companies, with different glazes. thanks, steve n rose
