Question:
I purchased a piece of Red Wing pottery at a sports collectors show. It is in the shape of a home plate 10.5" by 11". It is inscribed: 1965 All Star Game. Metropolitan Stadium, Bloomington, Minn. "Make Your Home Plate Minnesota" Karl Rolvaag Governor In addition to the inscription, a mitt, bat, ball and home plate are part of the design, along with 12 stars around the wording. The color is sage green. Can you give me some history about the piece and tell me its value? Scott

Answer: Scott

Red Wing made several items related to the "twins". this being one of them, most are ashtrays. Value is around 300.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
