Question:
I recently bought a piece of Redwing Pottery which is 14 1/2" tall and about 4 1/2" wide at the top and the bottom. When looking down on it or looking at the bottom,it looks like a Jewish Star (six points) and is a very soft orange mat finish on the outside and white on the inside. On the bottom it says REDWING USA 799 It is unchipped and the finish unblemished. If this is not enough info I will try to get help taking a picture and send it to you. Thank you for your help. Toba
Answer: Hi Toba
no pic necessary, thanks. Your vase is part of Belle Kogan’s Prismatique line, circa 1962. Tallest one, I think. The glaze is called Mandarin Orange. Value is around 135.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
