Question:
Hello, A friend just showed me this vase that her husband bought her years ago. She wishes to sell it and I wish to purchase it from her for a reasonable price. It is 10 3/8" tall. The glaze has a "frosted" look. The inside is white with the glaze colors "dripping" down inside about 1" – 1 1/2". The picture shows the color pretty accurately. The bottom has a circular blue stamped mark "RED WING ART POTTERY". There are no flaws that I can find. Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks Bill
Answer: Hi Bill
this dates to around 1930, Nokomis is the glaze name. Pretty popular today, value is around 225.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
