Question:
I just purchased my first piece of red wing pottery. It looks like a planter and the color is seafoam green with a raised oval pattern on the outside. the entire piece is glazed with a few spots were the color is missing but it is not chipped. On the bottem reads; RED WING USA 836. How much is this piece worth. I only payed $8.00 for it. Thanks Karen

Answer: Hi Karen

be careful, there always seems to be more that follow, after the first one! This is a planter, from 1963. An occasional glaze miss is acceptable. It has a value of double what you paid for it. thanks, steve n rose
