Question:
Thanks for taking time with my question, and this is a fabulous site! I recently found this bowl, or maybe a planter, at a yard sale. Only marked USA and 134, measures 7 1/2" long and 4" across middle (widest) point. Has some 3 petal flowers on sides, maybe freesia(?). In very excellent condition, has a clay fleabite and bottom inside has a hump, all under glaze. Any ideas on maker, though it does seem like it could be Red Wing, and of course I am curious about value as well. Again thanks for your time and I am linking to this site on my personal pages immediately!

Answer: Hello

thanks for the compliments! this item doesn’t match up with any Red Wing pieces I know of. I’m not sure who the maker is. Fairly simple form, probably from the 40′s or early fifties. Value maybe around 20.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
