Question:
I bought this stork umbrella stand in Wisconsin about 15 years ago and have been able to find very little info on it. I believe it is fairly rare and maybe difficult to price, but i would appreciate your estimate on its value. Shortly after finding this one, a similar piece was featured on the Oct/Nov 1993 RW newsletter. Any idea how many pieces are in existance? Thanks.
Answer: It is an early Red Wing item, and fairly rare. These are usually unglazed. Value should be 1000.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
