Question:
Hi, I found this piece of red wing, it is marked "Red Wing/ USA/ 1277" on the bottom under the glaze. It has a turquoise crackle finish with the interior being bronze. It measures 14" long by 3" wide by 4" high. I could not find it in the book but 1279 & 1280 have the same pattern on the exterior. Is this a known piece? And if so what would the value be? Thanks Mike

Answer: Hi Mike, It is a known shape, a planter, from 1947. Crackled turquoise is the glaze color. Value is around 25.00. thanks, steve n rose
