Question:
I have a bowl from my grandmother that is from the 1940′s or very early 1950′s. It’s blue on the outside, pink on the inside and has a very shiny finish. 10" diameter, 6.5 inches high, collared bottom with Redwing USA 977 impressed in the bottom. Has a small chip on bottom, a couple of manufacturer’s slub, no other cracks or chips, very little crazing and is in very good condition. Looking for value $$. Willing to sell. Thank you, Carrie
Answer: Your bowl can be found in a 1942 Red Wing catalog, the glazes are Luster Rachelle lined and Pale blue, value approximatly $25.00, in pristene condition.
