Hi I found this piece (serving bowl) in Portland, OR for $5.00 in a traditional antique sales area of town called Sellwood. I liked it because my home is a mid-century bi-level and we have embraced mid-century modern and have been renovating our home in danish modern or mid-century modern furnishings. This bowl reminded me of the period and I love the natural curves and hues of the piece. As I was washing it today, after 2 years of having it I noticed the marking and "Googled" it, now I’m intrigued to know the story behind the piece. Any help is appreciated. Rachel, Portland, Oregon

Answer: Hi Rachel, thanks for the Pic, this is from 1955, Sgraffito line. Value is around 55.00 or so. There were several shapes done in this particular line. Steve n Rose
