Question:
I have an item marked “RED WING U.S.A. / M-1629″ It appears to be a Wall Pocket or Wall Vase, with a curved ‘modern’ shape, rather large size (approx. 9″ high x 6″ wide), and a speckled chartreuse glaze. I have not been able to find specific information in any of the references I have available to me. Can you help?
Answer: Yes, we can! It is a shape done by Charles Murphy, circa 1959. It is a wall pocket, and the glaze is fleck yellow. Value is about 55.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
