Question:
We received this vase as a gift from my sister-in-law. It stands about 8 1/2 inches tall.White glaze exterior, with a pink interior. It is marked on the bottom 1048 or 1042 or 1043, the last number is very difficult to read. It has the Red Wing Logo on front in what appears to be metal(silver?)There also appears to be a slight bleeding of the interior pink on the front. Thank you James

 

Answer: The glaze of this vase is luster cream and rachelle, was first produced about 1940, the correct shape number is 1048 and has a value of approximately $25.
