Question:
Hi, Some time ago I acquired a Red Wing Stoneware Umbrella Vase? It is green and tan glaze with vertical stripes except for a upper border of leaves and some type of bird like a stork or heron aournd the diameter. I would love to find out more about this piece if possible, especially what time period it came from and what the design means. Appreciate any information you can give me and thank you for your time. Thanks Terri T.

Answer:
Hi Terri Think you have a brushware vase from the early 30′s. Stork, ostrich, emu, not really sure. It came in 3 different sizes, 8,10,12". Value is according to size. 60-100 or so. RRP also made a similar vase. Some of Red Wing’s were marked with a circular ink stamp. thanks, steve n rose
